Heartfelt Home is equipped with numerous facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for our residents with Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

One of our most treasured facilities is courtesy of Mother Nature. We are fortunate to reside in the peaceful Sundays River Valley near Port Elizabeth, where our residents can enjoy a quiet moment on the veranda or in the garden. Our more active residents also enjoy regular strolls through the large lawn. The perimeters of our property are secured with fencing and electronic gates, and we also have CCTV cameras throughout the building for added security and peace of mind.

With the cleanliness and comfort of each resident being a top priority, all bedrooms are fitted with clean and soft linen as well as under-floor heating. Mealtimes are also a pleasure at Heartfelt Home’s assisted living facility. Every meal is freshly prepared in our large farm kitchen, where our cook follows a menu plan that incorporates a diverse selection of tasty and healthy foods.

Heartfelt Home is registered as a frail care facility with the Department of Social Welfare, and we take pride in providing personalized care and support for patients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Our staff complement consists of qualified and registered nursing sisters as well as carers who are trained to provide specialised care for persons with Dementia or Alzheimer’s.

All prescribed medications are administered accordingly, and the local doctor is only 10 minutes away should any of the residents feel unwell. We also have a psychiatrist who assesses the residents on-site once every six months.
